Sir Richard Branson, owner of Virgin Records and Virgin Airlines, certainly has the Midas touch. In this quick read, Screw It, Let’s Do It: Lessons In Life, he claims there is no “secret” to success. His recipe has always been to do whatever is “fun”.
Sound familiar Secret fans?
It should.
Think, Esther Hicks.
How about “follow your bliss”? Are you following your bliss?
Are you making decisions in your life that are “fun” or painful? Are you always serious, or is their a lighter side to you? It is amazing to me how our lives are made up of our own choices, and yet few people feel like they have choices in life.
When you talk to people about their passions, most believe that they cannot make a living at it. Why? Because of the expectations that parents, teachers and society has placed on them, which in turn has affected their own belief system.
The good news is that you can make a living at your passion. If you want proof, watch “The Big Idea” with Donny Deutsch. He’s on nightly on CNBC. Excellent, positive programming!
It’s time that we value our time on this earth and we live our lives to their fullest. This means enjoying everyday, embracing life, and following the wisdom our heart whispers to our minds.
Screw it, Let’s do it!
